Early Exploration
While pursuing my BTech degree, the COVID lockdown in India paused regular college life. During that time, I began exploring creative skills and started learning Photoshop. What began as curiosity slowly turned into a deep interest in visual storytelling.
Transition to Video Editing
My interest naturally moved from static designs to motion. I started learning After Effects, where I discovered the power of timing, pacing, and emotion in videos. This phase marked my shift from graphic design into focused video editing and motion-based storytelling.
Professional Experience
Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, including freelance assignments and nearly 2 years of experience at a tech company in the stock-market education space. My work involved editing promotional videos, reels, talking-head content, and vlog-style YouTube videos, following real client workflows and deadlines.
Creative Interests
Outside of professional editing, I enjoy photography as a creative passion. I’m not a commercial photographer, but I love capturing moments during festivals, travel, and personal occasions. I also create videos for friends and family whenever the opportunity comes.
Current Learning & Growth
I’m continuously improving my craft. Recently, I’ve been learning DaVinci Resolve, focusing on color grading using log footage. Alongside editing, I’m also building a better understanding of camera basics and visual fundamentals to strengthen my post-production decisions.
